Dear Parents,

Kindly note the following:

1) The ICSE (Class X) 2021 Examination: Given the present worsening situation of the Covid- 19 Pandemic in the country, the CISCE has decided to CANCEL the ICSE (Class X) 2021 Examination. The options given in the earlier Circular dated 16th April 2021, now stands withdrawn.

2) Online Classes for Class XI students: Online classes for Class XI would commence from Thursday, April 22, 2021. The syllabus to be followed will be of ISC 2023.

3) The ISC (Class XII) 2021 Examination: The status of the ISC (Class XII) 2021 Examination remains the same, as per the Circular dated 16th April 2021.

4) A fair and an unbiased criterion' and date of result declaration: The CISCE is committed to devising 'a fair and an unbiased criterion' as stated earlier. The criterion on which basis the results will be declared for the ICSE (Class X) students and the date of result declaration will be announced by the CISCE later.

ICSE and ISC Examinations

ICSE and ISC Examninees - Batch of 2020

Dear Parent,

In the light of the nationwide surge in Covid 19 cases, the CISCE has decided to defer the ICSE (Class X) and ISC (Class XII) board examinations scheduled to be held from May 4, 2021.

The Covid situation will be closely monitored and the deferment of the ICSE & ISC 2021 Examinations will be reviewed and a final decision on the conduct of the board examinations will be taken by the 1st week of June 2021.

While the ISC (Class XII) examination will be conducted at a later date, the candidates for the ICSE (Class X) examination will be given the following options:

- to write the offline examination, along with the Class XII candidates OR

- not to write the offline examination.

In view of the ICSE (Class X) candidates opting for the second option, the CISCE will develop a fair and an unbiased criterion while preparing the results of such candidates.
