'Empathy', an after school programme was started in November 2016, for students of classes 3 and 4.

Students come to Empathy after school gets over and stay till 6 pm. The purpose of the programme is to empower children with phonetic skills, basic mathematical skills, reading , writing, speaking, listening skills and activities of daily living. This effort will help children to build their deficient skills.

'Empathy' functions from Monday to Friday, during term breaks and for two weeks during summer vacation.

The daily living activities that children learn here include washing themselves, changing clothes, eating independently and organizing their own belongings.

Skill building lessons and outdoor games are conducted under the able guidance of Special educators and staff members.

Attention span building games and exercises are carried out in the programme with the help of innovative teaching learning materials.Children involve themselves in these exercises while enjoying their evening snacks. The tender minds then complete their daily assigned tasks under the supervision of Special Educators.

Therefore, 'Empathy' not only signifies compassion, concern and concord but also reassurance for a better tomorrow.
