Shakti Centre is the cultural unit of Sri Aurobindo Institute of Culture.
Following its rich tradition, Shakti Centre offers classes in music, dance and painting.
- Vocal
- Classical, Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul Geeti, Bhajan, Atul Prasad, Rajani Kanto, Dwjendragiti, Nishi Kanto, Bengali Modern Songs, Chharar Gaan to name a few styles/schools.
- Instrumental
- Guitar, Sitar, Sarod, Synthesiser, Tabla to name a few.
- Painting and drawing
- Dance
- Manipuri, Bharatnatyam, Mohiniattyam, Odissi, Kathak, Creative Dance to name a few of the styles/schools.
- Recitation
Shakti Centre also organizes annual competitions, named in honour of its pioneers.
