1. Basantousab was celebrated on 13th April, 2010 in collaboration of Rabindra Bharati University. Students of RBU, Shri Ashish Bhattacharya and Smt. Pramita Mallick participated in Ranbindrasangeet. Students of RBU, Surangama, Niharika Centre for Performing Arts and Indian Cultural Ensemble participated in dance.

2. Sri Aurobindo Institute of Culture received affiliation of Rabindra Bharati University for offering Cerificate and Diploma Courses on visual arts during the period under review. It has been decided that the delivery of the courses will be made by the teachers of Shakti Centre from the session 2011-12.

3. Shakti Centre continued offering its own Certificate Courses. Students of Prachin Kala Kendra continued to appear for examinations conducted by the Kendra.

4. Total number of students inclusive of the students enrolled with Prachin Kala Kendra has been around 850. About 35 teachers associated with the Centre delivered the courses to these students.

5. Yogasana and karate classes have been introduced during the year on popular demand. It has been decided that Communicative English would be offered from the session 2011-12.

6. Aspiration 2010 was a grand success. The theme was 'Rabi Pranam' as the year coinsided with the 150th birth centenary of the poet. All the programmes were based on this theme.

7. The objects of art and craft created by the concerned students were highly appreciated by the visitors so much so that the Centre received enquiries if one of the pencil sketches and a few craft works on display were available for sale. A dance drama on Rabi Pranam performed by the students was highly appreciated.

8. All Bengal Memorial Competitions were held on 17th December 2010. The number of participants was as follows:
