The Judges for the event were:
Mr. Mrinal Chakraborty- Renowned author and script writer. Professor of English Literature at Dinobandhu Andrews College.
Mrs. June Dutta- Noted teacher and educationist. Attached to various teacher enrichment programmes as Resource Person.
Mrs. Sharmishtha Dutta Gupta- Acclaimed author and book editor. Previously attached to Seagull Art and Media Resource Centre.
Registration for the event commenced at 8:30 a.m. At 9:30 a.m. the motion for the debate was formally announced by the Moderator. The motion was: This House believes that in the 21st Century there is no question of a world without violence and destruction.
The participants were given an hour's time for preparation. The school library and computer laboratory was made available to them. The event started with a welcome address by the Principal and ended at 2:30 p.m. with the declaration of results and handing over of Certificates to the winners.

Runners Up: St. Xavier's Collegiate School
Best Speaker: Aditya Vikram Doshi, St. James' School
First Runner Up Speaker: Yash Gupta, St. James' School.
