Sri Aurobindo Institute of Culture began the Bengali New Year on a musical note through an offering of Tagores songs by the promising young singer Shreya Guha Thakurta. The Artist enthralled the audience with her presentation – and sang the classic compositions of Puja and Prem Parjaya combining tradition with improvisation very skillfully. Apart from exceptional assistance on the Key Board by Shri Pulak Sarkar, Shri Surajit Roy on Esraj and Shri Anjan Banerjee on Tabla were also excellent in their roles.
