Allopathy Medicine
Eminent doctors continue to provide services for treatment of patients on scheduled dates. The patients are treated on out patient basis. Number of patients treated in each specialised discipline is given below.

Diagnostic Services : Our ECG & X- Ray machine was pressed into service as and when patients needed it - the charges were subsidized. For pathological services, outsourcing with a local centre continued during the year.
Alternative medicine
People suffering from chronic diseases / long-term illness/ health deterioration underwent treatment in alternative medicine: Homeopathy -100 ; Acupuncture - 79.
Medical camps
Diabetes detection test: 34 people availed the facility on 9th May 2005.
Eye-exercise camp
From 27th October to 8th November, a special eye-exercise camp was organized at the Institute in association with experts from the School of Perfect Eyesight, Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry. A team of four experts, led by Shri Prapanna, conducted the camp. 280 persons between age of 7 and 70 participated in the camp.
Health Care
Students health check-up
General health check-up of all the students of Arun Nursery School and The Future Foundation School was performed by our general physician in batches as per schedule drawn up in consultation with school coordinators. Further the students with problems in areas of eye, ENT or Dental were examined and treated by appropriate specialists. A health card was prepared and handed over to the guardian for their information and follow-up, if necessary. 977 students underwent health check-up during the Year.
Immunisation of children
The activity was carried out in collaboration with Department of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal. In addition to double antigen, triple antigen, anti-tetanus, anti-polio vaccines, Hepatitis -B was also administered, free of charge. Immunization of 1136 children was performed during in the year.
Health Development
Shakti Gym
People from both genders have used Shakti-gym for health development. Two new pieces of equipment - cycle with meter and stepper -have been added.
