T.F.F.S. Interact Club - Visit to Navanir

Thirty members of the Interact Club, accompanied with 3 teachers, visited Navanir - an old-age home in Behala. They distributed diyas, soap-bars, towels and sweets to forty-five grannies staying there. They also interacted with the Grannies and sang songs for them.



10.Aug.06 - Celebrating Rakhi at Cheshire home

The children visited Cheshire Home to tie 'Rakhi' to the physically and menatally-challenged inmates of the Home. They sang a few songs for the inmates and also distributed food-packets.




16.Jul.06 - Medical Campaign at Charu Market Police Station


The children, accompanied by a teacher, assisted Rotarians in the 'Naba Disha' project - a medical campaign - at Charu Market Police Station. They helped in maintaining discipline, issuing cards for check-up and distributing medicines to the patients.



03.Jul.06 - Celebrating 'Ratha-yatra' at Atma Vikas School

The Interact members, accompanied by teachers, visited 'Atma Vikas', a School for under-priviledged children, with a 'Rath' and sweets. The members were unable to visit them on the actual day of the Ratha-yatra. But as they did not want to lose the opportunity of spending quality time with the children of Atma Vikas, the visit was post-poned to 'Ulta-rath' day. The visit brought joy and cheer to the children.




14.Feb.06 - Grannies from Navanir visit SAIC on Valentine's Day


The Interactors invited ten Grannies from Navanir to visit Sri Aurobindo Institute of Culture. The Grannies were overwhelmed at the opportunity to pay homage to Sri Aurobindo at the 'Sacred Relics' and to visit Sri Aurobindo Parichay Gallery and Gallerie La Mere.

The students presented hand-made Valentine Cards, 'agarbatti', food packets and fruit-juice to the lovable and loving grannies. The students also presented songs and recitations of poems.
