The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest, Mr. Sondhi Mukherjee, I.G. of Police,
Mr.Nilanjan Chattapadhyay, C.E.O. of Nandan Theatre and Dr. Gautam Bhattacharya, President
of Rotary Club of Tollygunje. The function was inaugurated by a group song and a classical
dance performance. The activities of the Club in the year 2004-05 were then presented as a
slide-show.
The senior citizens from Navanir and under-priviledged children, who attend classes
taken by the Interactors after School hours every Tuesday, were also amongst
the invitees. The members of the Club sang a song along with the children.

This was followed by the Investiture Ceremony, oath-taking of the new members of the Board,
National Anthem and speeches made by the guests.
Mr. Sondhi Mukherjee presented an old record
of Sri Aurobindo's imprisonment to Sri Aurobindo Institute of Culture.
The programme was concluded with a vote-of-thanks by Sri Ranjan Mitter and a folk dance by the
club members.
