Christmas is a time for spreading joy and hope among everybody especially among them who are not able to celebrate this
festive occasion. Hence we the Interact Club members and teachers of the Future Foundation School paid a visit to the children's ward of the Thakurpukur Cancer Hospital and put in
our whole-hearted effort to create a merry and cheerful ambience for those who have perhaps have very little to smile about.
Our hearts really melted to see those little children unable to do any kind of activities that other
children are able to do, confined in their wards. To brighten up their Christmas
eve, we presented them various types of gifts like chocolates, cakes, fruits, candies, biscuits and two radio-sets.

We decorated their ward with balloons and confetti and our efforts bore
fruit as the children really enjoyed it. We interacted with them and sang
some songs like "Sare Jahan Se Accha".Some of the children also
joined in the singing. It was rather nice of the Interacters and the
teachers who accompanied us to make the patients feel that "yes, we
too have the right to celebrate Christmas like others!".
We all pray for their quick recovery and a bright future.
