Vermiculture is an eco-friendly method of converting bio-degradable waste into organic fertilizer.This involves the construction of a vermi-compost pit and filling it with essential raw materials. Earthworms are added to the
vermi-compost pit to aid the conversion.
All bio-degradable waste like flowers, fruit peels, left-overs etc, collected as an outcome of Waste-segregation is added to the Vermi-compost
in the school.
